The Open Door Summer Food Service Program offers nutritious meals to youth during the summer, when school lunch programs are shut down. Meals are being distributed from several sites beginning today and running through August 23, 2016.

"There are several sites in Pettis County, in Sedalia, and our surrounding communities where they have a summer feeding program for youth to be able to go and have a nutritious meal," Staci Harrison, United Way Executive Director said.

Site locations are listed on the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services website at www.dhss.mo.gov/sfsp.

"You can also call Sue Foster at 596-3922 or 1-888-435-1464 to find a site that is near you," Harrison said.
