A few weeks prior, rumors emerged that ABC's 'Once Upon A Time' had grown large enough to birth its own spinoff, focusing on Lewis Carroll's Wonderland with Sebastian Stan's Mad Hatter at the helm. Those rumors ultimately proved unfounded, though 'Once' creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz did clarify that a potential presentation for a spinoff would move forward centering on classic heroine Alice. Now titled 'Once: Wonderland,' for the moment, are you ready to meet the new cast of the 'Once Upon A Time' spinoff?

We're not sure what to make of a potential 'Alice in Wonderland' spinoff of 'Once Upon A Time,' but for now the 'Once: Wonderland' project has its title and an official cast. Sources report (and confirmed by EW) that Australian actress Sophie Lowe has won the coveted role of Alice herself, while Peter Gadiot will play her mysterious love interest "Cyrus." 'Being Human' star Michael Socha also joins as the Knave of Hearts from the classic tale.

Lowe's Alice is described as young but having lived a long, hard life with plenty of scars on her psyche and a generous heart that she tries to keep hidden. Gadiot's Cyrus will play Alice's love interest with a mysterious background, while roles of mysterious Amahl and the White Rabbit, which will likely be animated with voiceover, have yet to be assigned.

'Once' writer/producer Jane Espenson, 'Zero Hour's' Zack Estrin and Steve Pearlman will shoot a teaser presentation in April and shoot a full in late July or August if the presentation moves forward.

What say you? Are you excited to see an 'Alice in Wonderland' spinoff of 'Once Upon A Time' moving forward?
