The new year began with the surprise of new music from Blake Shelton. 'Sure Be Cool if You Did' is just one of many new songs on the radio for January 2013, and it caught fans off guard -- in a good way -- as the singer hadn't mentioned planning a new album.

Newcomers Florida Georgia Line and Kristen Kelly both released the follow-ups to their debut singles to radio in this winter month. Kelly's 'He Loves to Make Me Cry' is a brilliant vocal performance, while FGL's 'Get Your Shine On' is in the same spirit of their smash hit, 'Cruise.' Charlie Worsham is another new artist with a new song for radio in January 2013. In late January Jake Owen, Lady Antebellum and Eric Church released new singles, including one fans had never heard before.
