Natalie Stovall Gets a Shot at ‘The Voice’ Redemption With Garth Brooks Cover [WATCH]

Natalie Stovall was eliminated from The Voice Season 13 during the Battle Rounds in late October, but she earned a shot at redemption on Monday night (Nov. 13). As the “comeback artist” for Blake Shelton‘s team, Stovall competed in The Voice Playoffs with a Garth Brooks cover.

For her Playoffs performance, Stovall sang Brooks’ “Callin’ Baton Rouge.” Coach Adam Levine called hers the “Blakiest” of the night’s performances — not surprising given that she was singing a country song and playing the fiddle during her performance.

Unfortunately, Stovall was once again eliminated from the competition following her Playoffs performance. During Playoffs, each coach must whittle his or her team down to three members; Shelton selected Keisha Renee, Red Marlow and Chloe Kohanski.

Stovall first revealed that she had auditioned for The Voice Season 13 in mid-September. In addition to helming her own band, the Drive, and maintaining their tour schedule, Stovall also performs with radio host Bobby Bones and his band the Raging Idiots.

Stovall says on her website that she is working on an album that’s set for release this year. Her last release was the EP Heartbreak in February of 2016.

Season 13 of The Voice began on Sept. 25, with Blake Shelton and fellow judges Miley CyrusAdam Levine and Jennifer Hudson at the helm. Billy Ray Cyrus and Rascal Flatts are among those who were drafted as mentors for the season.
