Brandon Hanks of Burlison, Tenn., and Billy Moyer, Jr., of Batesville, Ark., were the feature winners Sunday afternoon at State Fair Speedway, where the first of seven races scheduled this season at the historic half-mile were held under cloudy skies.

Hanks won $5,000 in the ASCS Warrior Region series presented by Impact Signs, Awnings and Wraps. Peak Sport and Spine was the other major sponsor of State Fair Speedway's "Spring Fling."

The win is Hanks’ second career ASCS victory, and first with the ASCS Warrior Region.

Rounding out the top five in the A feature were Seth Bergman in second, Brian Brown in third, Kyle Bellm in fourth and Bryan Clauson in fifth.

Moyer won $5,000 in his feature race, making this his fourth MLRA career victory in the Lucas Oil Midwest Region.

Finishing out the top five were Terry Phillips in second, Rodney Sanders in third, Jason Papich in fourth and Randy Timms in fifth. Sunday’s event marked the first time the Lucas MLRA series has raced at State Fair Speedway since 2011.
