Missouri’s Fastest Growing City in 2016

WalletHub has put out its list of 2016’s Fastest Growing Cities. Kansas City and St. Louis (which are almost always Missouri's cities at or near the top of these kinds of national lists) are both ranked, but they're not at the top. In fact, they're not even close. 

According to WalletHub the fastest growing city in Missouri is Columbia, which came in 123rd, overall. Springfield was also in the Top 200 cities, with a ranking of 159th. Lee's Summit was 295th, Kansas City 336th, O'Fallon 351st, St. Joseph 360th, Independence 462nd, and St. Louis finished a dismal 502nd on the list of 515 cities.

Nationwide, the fastest growing city for 2016 is Frisco, Texas.

It's pretty cool for Columbia to do well on this list, especially considering all the trouble they've had at the University of Missouri over the past year or so. On the other hand, I hope the city doesn't grow too fast. Traffic in Columbia is already a pain.
