Missouri State Highway Patrol Responds To Accident In Johnson County

The following Missouri State Highway Patrol Report is from the morning of Thursday, November 19, 2015.

There was a one-vehicle accident in Johnson County early this morning (November 19) at 6:35 on Highway 50 1.2 miles west of Highway 13.  20-year-old Jacob Smith of Centerview was traveling westbound and slid off Highway 50. Smith's 2007 Ford overturned, before it came to a rest in the median.

Smith was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private transportation and his vehicle was considered totaled in the intial report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
