Missouri State Fire Marshall Called in to Investigate an East Sedalia Fire [Interview]

According to a Sedalia Police report, at 2:43 Wednesday morning Sedalia Police and the Sedalia Fire Department responded to a house fire at 811 East 5th Street. Upon arrival, the report states, a large amount of smoke was coming from the structure.

The fire, which was extinguished in a short period of time according to Deputy Fire Chief Gregg Harrell, was deemed of a suspicious nature, and the Missouri State Fire Marshall was called in to investigate.
