The Missouri State Fair is proud to partner with Missouri Farmers Care in the Drive to Feed Kids campaign.Missouri Farmers Care (MFC), has launched Drive to Feed Kids, an effort to fight childhood food insecurity and showcase Missouri agriculture. The Drive moderates food bank distribution networks to deliver meals to children across Missouri.

The Drive is led by MFC, Feeding Missouri, Brownfield Ag News, the Missouri State Fair and Missouri FFA.

MFC will culminate with several events at the 2017 Missouri State Fair, such as:

Thursday, August 10 — Screening of Where the Fast Lane Ends, a film showing responsible use of agriculture science and technology. Tickets are a minimum $25 donation to the Drive. Donations can be made here. 3:30 pm, Director's Tent.

Thursday, August 10 — Concert with Sawyer Brown and Royal Wade Kimes. Tickets can be purchased here. 7:30 pm, Pepsi Grandstand.

Tuesday, August 15 — Care Food Drive. Discounted admission for canned food donations. ($1 off per item, up to $5 savings per adult ticket). All food donated will benefit Feeding Missouri.

Tuesday, August 15 — Missouri FFA members will gather at the State Fair to pack 50,000 child-friendly meals to benefit Meals of Hope.

Tuesday, August 15 — Can Creation Contest sponsored by Woods Supermarket. Agricultural youth will have two hours to build sculptures out of canned goods. Woods will supply all of the canned goods, which will later be donated to Feeding Missouri after the Fair. The sculptures will be on display until the final day of the fair. 11-1 pm, Agriculture Building.
