Missouri State Fair Highlights for Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013
Today (Aug. 13) is day six of the 2013 Missouri State Fair , and it’s the third annual Missouri Farmers Care Food Drive Tuesday. You can save $4 on gate admission, today with canned food donations. Donations will be accepted at the Centennial Gate and when you bring your canned food items, you’ll get $1 off gate admission coupon per can up to $4 for adults, $3 for senior ticket and $1 for child. Be sure to swing by the Ag Building to see the Canstruction of the massive mural of FFA Emblem.
This will be the second day that Fairgoers will be able to participate in the Lunch Bunch program where you can take a break from the workplace and head to the Missouri State Fairgrounds for lunch. Go to the Centennial entrance after 11 a.m. and if you return by 2 p.m. you’ll receive a full refund and a full stomach
In addition come see the Old and Wow Tractor and Equipment Show East of the Mathewson Exhibition Center. There will be a parade of power inside the Mathewson Exhibition Center at 1:30 p.m. and there will be Tractor Operator Competitions at 3.
The Bud Stage will feature, Rachel Farley at 2 & 6 p.m., Charissa Mrowka and Country Cross sponsored by Ford and Missouri Farm Bureau at 9 p.m. and the Missouri State Fair Idol goes at 2 p.m.
The evening’s Pepsi Grandstand lineup will feature Chubby Checker at 7:30 p.m.
