It can be easy to get overwhelmed at the State Fair.  There's so much to see and do you can feel like you'll never get to experience it all.   And with the hot weather we've been having, that can zap your energy quick. Luckily there's a wonderful place to stop, recharge, and enjoy nature right on the Fairgrounds. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Gardens is the place to have a good rest while you're on the grounds.  After walking everywhere to see every building, show, and exhibit, you can feel very drained very quickly.  Taking a minute to sit in the tranquil shade of the beautiful gardens can bring a family a little peace after a hectic day.

So why not make the Highway Patrol Gardens a stop on your day at the fair - you can get all the beauties of nature with all the excitement of a  day at the Fair.
