Missouri State Fair Daily Highlights: Friday, August 17
Day nine of the Missouri State Fair is here, and today is Missouri Electric Cooperatives/Git-R-Done Friday where you can get free CFL lights at the MEC building while supplies last.
The Pepsi Grandstand will feature Larry the Cable Guy and Reno Collier at 7:30 p.m., with tickets available for $25, $30, $35, or $40 at the Pepsi Grandstand Box Office.
The State Fair Arena will feature the Missouri State Fair Championship Bull Riding at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for ages 6-12; ages 5 and under are free!
The Bud Stage will feature Bush Hawg at 2 and 6 p.m.; Day 3 of the semi-finals of the Missouri State Fair Idol will be at 4 p.m. and 2 Buck Drunk will play at 9 p.m.
Be sure to see the World-Renowned Budweiser Clydesdales with the Draft Horse Hitch Show and then parading the grounds at 6 p.m.
The Kids Stage will feature the Electron Water Balloon Bounce at 2 p.m. and the Touchstone Energy Stage will have a Larry the Cable Guy Look Alike Contest at 6 p.m.
