Miranda Lambert Exhibit Opening at Country Music Hall of Fame
Miranda Lambert is adding a little sass to the Country Music Hall of Fame — she’s getting her own exhibit!
Titled ‘Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access,’ the exhibit opens May 16, 2014 in Nashville and runs through Nov. 9. It will explore a year in the life of the Grammy-winning superstar, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at Lambert’s phenomenal 2013.
The exhibition will include gowns, stage costumes, awards and much more from the reigning and four-time CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year, with the ‘Automatic‘ singer’s personal tweets providing a narrative thread of this journey.
“The Country Music Hall of Fame is a place to cherish what country music is all about, and I’m so honored to have an exhibit in this treasured hall,” Lambert gushes.
The feeling is mutual — the famed museum is ecstatic to feature this well-loved artist. “Miranda Lambert is one of contemporary music’s most popular and acclaimed artists, and for good reason,” Museum Director Kyle Young states.
“She’s a dynamic performer; an emotive and powerful vocalist whose voice is equally at home with lyrics tough or tender; and a songwriter with a deft touch for feeling and place,” he continues. “Her numerous hits, from empowering anthems like ‘Gunpowder and Lead’ to introspective set pieces like ‘The House That Built Me,’ are rich contributions to country music’s storytelling tradition. We are looking forward to taking our visitors behind the scenes with Miranda during her amazing successes in 2013.”
Lambert is currently working on her fifth studio album. She’s hoping to win big at the 2014 ACMs with a whopping seven nominations.
