Marshall Teenager Injured in ATV Collision

A 15-year old Marshall resident was injured in an ATV accident Thursday evening in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 6:30, on 263rd Road, just west of Melody.

According to the online crash report, a 2015 Hyundai Elantra, driven by 40-year-old Tori D. Allen, pulled into the path of a 2005 Honda ATV, causing the ATV to strike the Hyundai. The driver of the ATV was ejected.

Allen was not injured in the collision. However, the driver of the ATV, 15-year-old Benjamin T. Brown, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.
