Luke Bryan has been forced to delay one of the shows on his 2015 Farm Tour due to inclement weather.

The country superstar postponed his concert slated for Thursday (Oct. 1) in Lexington, Ky., revealing the news via Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

“Postponing a show is so difficult for me because I know it an inconvenience to the people that make my life amazing. The fans. Very sorry!” Bryan writes.

“Rain is not a good thing when farmers are trying to harvest crops and I’m doing farm tour shows," he added in another tweet.

Bryan has re-scheduled the concert for Oct. 6 at Talon Farm & Winery in Lexington. He kicked off his seventh annual Farm Tour on Sept. 30 in Ft. Wayne, Ind. The trek will run through Oct. 10 before finishing up in Valdosta, Ga.

The "Strip It Down" singer performed in front of more than 110,000 fans during last year’s Farm Tour. This year promises to be even bigger, with Sam HuntChris Janson, the Peach Pickers, Chancie Neal and DJ Rock all joining him on the road. A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship fund, which helps provide college scholarships to students from farming families in local communities the tour visits.

Bryan is is at an all-time career high with the release of his new album, Kill the Lights, which debuted at No. 1, selling more than 320,000 copies in its first week. He spent this summer on his Kick the Dust Up Tour with Florida Georgia LineThomas RhettDustin Lynch and Randy Houser.
