After breaking his clavicle in a biking accident on Thursday (Oct. 6), Luke Bryan underwent surgery to repair his injury.

On Sunday (Oct. 9), Bryan shared a photo of himself in the passenger seat of a car -- his wife appears to be driving -- along with the caption "Heading to surgery. Ugh." The singer's rep confirmed to Country Rebel that the surgery was to fix Bryan's broken clavicle, and around 9PM ET on Sunday night, Bryan shared an X-ray of his newly repaired shoulder.

On Thursday, Bryan was involved in a bicycle accident and treated at Maryville, Tenn.'s Blount Memorial Hospital, then made his way back to Maple Lane Farms in Greenback, Tenn., to play the first date on his 2016 Farm Tour. At the time, via Twitter, he assured fans that the show would go on, and on Sunday, he did the same: "Oh. Show's still on BTW," Bryan tweeted after revealing that he was headed for surgery. "Will be all good for Wednesday."

According to Taste of Country, Bryan was nearing the end of a 28-mile bike ride with a friend when he rode off the road and fell while trying to get his bike back onto the cement. Bryan says that he started cycling a few months ago and typically rides on his own ... and that this wasn't his first fall; he fell while biking near a beach earlier this year.

Bryan’s stop at Maple Lane Farms was the first on his 2016 Farm Tour. The trek was scheduled to begin on Wednesday (Oct. 5), in Gaston, S.C., but due to evacuation orders put in place because of Hurricane Matthew, the show was canceled.

A portion of Farm Tour ticket proceeds go toward a local college scholarship, the Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship, given to students from farming families within the communities in which the Farm Tour stops. The artist’s first-ever Farm Tour EP, … Here’s to the Farmer, is now available.
