If you hear the name Roy Clark, most likely you don't think of a Country Music Hall of Fame member. Instead, you most likely think of the TV show "Hee Haw". Clark and Bakersfield legend Buck Owens co-hosted the CBS-TV production that premiered June 15, 1969 and ran in syndication before ceasing production in 1993 .

According to CMT.com, Clark, age 82, is feeling the effects of Mother Nature. He moves a little slower, has gone through back surgeries to relieve the pain, and now relies a on a cane to get around these days.

One of a handful of country music artists that helped to not only shape but also change country music, he is one of the top entertainers ever in country music. CMA and ACM awards from back in the early 1970's prove it.

With a supporting cast of Archie Campbell, Junior Samples, David "Stringbean" Akeman, Minnie Pearl, and Grandpa Jones and guests like Loretta Lynn and a young, slender Garth Brooks, it was a show for all ages.
