Country music foursome Little Big Town have been building unstoppable momentum, and 2013 has proved to be a fantastic year, with a Grammy for 'Pontoon' and their two ACM awards for Vocal Group of the Year and Video of the Year. It looks like things will just keep getting better for LBT, as they just received an Emmy nomination.

The 'Your Side of the Bed' hitmakers have been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song for 'Good Afternoon,' which played on 'Good Afternoon America' on ABC. The hit was co-written by Little Big Town, Brett Warren and Brad Warren, produced by Jay Joyce and recorded in Nashville, Tenn. this past summer.

“What an unexpected honor to be nominated for an Emmy,” exclaimed group member Jimi Westbrook (quote via Country Music Tattle Tale). “This is something we never could have dreamed up as a band and we are beyond thrilled to say the least!”

LBT's success can certainly be attributed to their hard work and perseverance, as they've been together for years, never giving up on their love for music. Now, their dedication has paid off, as even country star Keith Urban has said he'd love to collaborate with the group.

Also representing country music with an Emmy nomination is Trisha Yearwood, as her Food Network show, 'Trisha’s Southern Kitchen,' garnered a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Culinary Program. She begins her third season of the show this month.

Little Big Town will tour with Urban on his 2013 Light the Fuse Tour, and country music fans will have the opportunity to experience this incredibly talented group all summer long.
