Listeners Give Suggestions on Behka’s Staycation [SURVEY]

Next week is going to be a big one for me since I've not had a vacation in quite some time.  I actually don't remember the last time I was gone for more than maybe one day.  I guess when you've got a fun job that doesn't make you actually WORK, then vacations seem a little unnecessary. Nah, who am I kidding?  Of course vacations are necessary! I need to spend some quality time with my couch.  But as I was thinking about next week, I felt a little guilty.  I mean, I have time off now, a whole week.  Should I be more productive?  Should I try to actually do something constructive?   Or should I just go ahead and be lazy? You guys were a mix of answers.

Well, see, now that is a point. I mean, don't we all need a little time to recharge our batteries? You want your mind to be sharp, right?

See, now that kind of answer does make me reconsider.  I do have something wrong with several things in my little world.  For example, if you remember my plant, Steve?

Yeah..... Steve is no more.  He has ceased to be. He's expired and gone to meet his maker. That is a... late plant. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. He's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. Steve is an ex-plant. So I guess I could get another plant?  Or maybe do some other kind of yard work?

But then there's that couch.  There's that Netflix queue.  It's not gonna watch itself.

Catching up on shows on my DVR on catching up on my DVD collection.

Sweet validation.  I think that is precisely what I will be doing.  I'll be cuddling with the cat on the couch and eating chips.  That's probably all my mind needs to concentrate on.

Yeah, I think the kitties need cuddling.  I need naps.  I need to lay down in an air-conditioned building and watch cable programming involving crime and DNA evidence.  Sandwiches, soda and pajamas will probably be heavily involved.  Heck, I might do a little cleaning or something.

But I don't wanna push it.
