On the red carpet at the 2016 Grammy Awards, Lee Ann Womack encountered some stars from other genres that made her realize just how friendly the artists within the country music genre really are.

During an interview with CBSN, the singer-songwriter commented that somebody's bodyguards -- she didn't name names because she legitimately didn't know who the act was -- shoved her aside, and she was none too thrilled about it.

"... I don't like gettin' shoved aside by people who are two times my size!" Womack says.

Before that, she explains that the Grammys are interesting because she "get[s] to see all the other genres and the way they behave" and admits, "They're not very nice, I have to tell you."

Womack was nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance at the 2016 Grammy Awards. The former went to "Girl Crush," sung by Little Big Town, while the latter went to Chris Stapleton.

In 2002, Womack won a trophy at the Grammy Awards, for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals. The award came for "Mendocino County Line," a collaboration with Willie Nelson.
