9 to 5: The Musical is a musical based on the 1980 movie of the same name, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. The Liberty Center here in Sedalia started their run of this great show last week. The show's plot follows the same as the famous movie that a lot of us saw and loved!

Pushed to the boiling point by their boss, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do, even in a man's world.

Set in the late 1970s, it's is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. Outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic, '9 to 5: The Musical' is about teaming up and taking care of business.

I got to talk with some of the cast, Ruth Schlomer and Jessica Jones, about how it's going so far and about all the fun they've got planned for the second half of the run.

Show dates are March 13-16, 2014. Tickets can be purchased at the Liberty Center, 111 West 5th Street or by calling (660) 827-3228. Box office hours are Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and an hour prior to the show. Get your tickets today!

Revengeily yours,
Behka
