Missourians can experience fun, family-friendly activities throughout the state park system on Saturday, May 20 in celebration of Kids to Parks Day. This national event is sponsored by the National Park Trust and endorsed by Missouri State Parks. More than 100,000 parks throughout the nation will be participating.

Missouri is home to award-winning state and local parks that provide an opportunity for children to experience all that nature has to offer. Events at state parks throughout the state are sponsored by Missouri State Parks on May 20 to encourage families to take an outdoor adventure at a state park or historic site.

Closer to home, Knob Noster State Park is hosting a Family Scavenger Hunt on May 20th. This event is open to all visitors to the park. It will start at the visitor center and clues will be hidden along one of the park's trails (the trail will be revealed when you register for this event).
