Kelly Clarkson is now the mother of adorable River Rose, but getting her here was anything but easy.

The singer admits that her pregnancy came with a lot of problems, which included a stint in the hospital. Truthfully, as she tells US Weekly, being with child was actually "horrible."

"I was hospitalized," Clarkson shares, "It was just kind of a bad pregnancy, so I had to take off way more time than normal."

While it wasn't a walk in the park, Clarkson tells Nick Grimshaw of BBC's Radio 1 Breakfast Show that she's pleased with how it turned out. After all, River is perfect! The singer is thoroughly enjoying being a mom.

"I love it. I love it," Clarkson gushes. "[River's] pretty awesome, and my husband is running from me because I want another one."

Even with baby fever, don't expect Clarkson to go MIA just yet. Just this week, the proud mom used her sweet daughter to help her debut her new single, 'Heartbeat Song.' "I want another one in like, a year," she clarifies of baby No. 2.

Currently, the superstar is focusing on her new music and trying to get a new album out. It's set to be released in March, and although it's not an officially country album, Clarkson says it has country influences.
