Keith Urban throws one heck of a summer party in his "Wasted Time" video. The John Urbano-directed clip for his new single brings to life all the scenes the singer sings about on the third single from Ripcord. Watch during this premiere on Taste of Country.

Urbano also directed Urban's "Cop Car" and "Somewhere in My Car" videos, and while this video for "Wasted Time" isn't quite that sexy, it still sizzles with summer heat. Young people enjoying the warm weather and privacy of a dirt road hideaway dance as Urban plays banjo and sings in the warm weather. He shot it over two days in California, and wears an appropriate black tank top that shows his heavily-tattooed arms in most scenes. No one is taking wasted time for granted.

Ripcord (May 6) is Urban's ninth studio album, featuring "Wasted Time" as well as singles "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" and "Break on Me." He also tapped rapper Pitbull and Carrie Underwood for separate collaborations. Sonically he continues to push the boundaries of country music without overstepping.

Expect to hear all three singles on the Ripcord World Tour this spring and summer. On Thursday morning, Urban revealed seven new Canadian tour dates, with country-rocker Dallas Smith opening six of them. Maren Morris will join Urban for all 2016 tour dates and Brett Eldredge will open for most. The Ripcord World Tour begins on June 2 in Kansas City, Mo.
