Jack Miller’s Mother’s Day Poem for Mothers

Mother’s Day is coming soon, and I always like to write a poem for my late mother to help me through the sadness of not having her here anymore. Knowing how giving mom always was, I know she would want to share the poem with all the other mothers out there.

I remember Mama

I remember mama’s smile

Her tender loving touch

I remember mama’s kiss

Her hugs I loved so much

I recall her being there

When a child or fully grown

A guiding light that I still see

Even after she has gone

I remember this and more

Since mama went away

And I hope heaven

where she lives
