Being in the business of releasing information that is supposed to prepare us for impending weather, I get frustrated when the professionals, i.e., meterologists, send out reports that maybe leads us into a panic mode and we're all running around like Chicken Little.  Do you get annoyed with this (mis)information??? With all the technology that's available for the weather prognosticators, you'd think they would be spot on with forecasts. Unfortunately, that's not the case.  You've probably heard the joke about meterologists..."It's the only profession that you can be wrong 50% of the time and still keep your job."

It's either a storm that's moving through the area bringing high gusty winds and three inches of rain or a cold front moving across the plains with the possibility of up to seven inches of snow of which we wind up with maybe a sprinkle on the windshield or a couple of flakes fluttering to the ground.

But what do we do, we run out, buy up all the necessities of life.  You know...milk, bread, potato chips, cookies, licorice twists, a gallon of ice cream and, oh yeah...a package of double-ply toilet paper.

As a friend of the show, Darren Lafevers, would say, "Come On Man!"
