I Found A Song Called “Sedalia” And I Am Very Confused

I was doing my usual thing, you know, trying to think of something to write about. I've been on YouTube lately, partly goofing off, partly looking for ****inspiration****.

So I thought, well, why not just type in "Sedalia" and see what comes up.

This comes up.

Yes, there is a song that was a hit in the early 1990s (you can definitely appreciate the sweet mullet) called "Sedalia".  It's by a group called Tol and Tol, who from what I can find on the internet, are a group from the "Dutch province of North Holland".  But watching the video, it looks like it's something..... Mayan? Mexican?  I have no idea what they're singing.   I googled the lyrics, here's what I got:

I put that into Google Translate, and I got NOTHING.  It's, like, the first time Google has failed me. What could they possibly be singing about? Why have I never heard of this? Why is a group from Holland singing about Mayans, with our name? I am confused, gentle reader. 

Have you ever heard of this?  Have you any idea what language they're singing in?  Do you think we can find out what it's about? This is going to drive me NUTS. This is a mystery I need solved, like, yesterday.
