The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 37-year-old Brandy D. Mobley of Marshall after a high speed chase ended in Pettis County, just south of Sedalia on Tuesday night.

Pettis County deputies and the Patrol chased the vehicle that Mobley was allegedly was driving through Pettis County and into the east city limits, where speeds reached 95 miles per hour on Highway 50 and around 80 miles per hours within the city limits.

The chase wound through Sedalia westbound on Broadway to Warren, then south on Warren to 16th, then south on Limit from 16th to Sacajawea, then west on Sacajawea to Vernon Road, where the chase ended at the Vernon apartment complex and Mobley was arrested just before 10:30 p.m. Sedalia Police assisted county officers and the Patrol during the Sedalia portion of the chase.

According to the Patrol, Mobley was charged with Felony Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia, a registration violation, Driving While Revoked, lane violation and No Proof of Insurance. Mobley was also wanted on a Saline County warrant.

She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of state charges stemming from the incident. There was no word on what initiated the chase from the Patrol.
