But, you might want to keep yourself exercising to work off some of that goodness. It can be a little intimidating to get started. So Sarah Nail came by to tell us about a great way to get started: Healthy U.
Healthy U is a health and wellness initiative. It has all sorts of different ways to get fit or just get a little healthier. It offers everything from Zumba classes for you and the kids to a fitness challenge, a circuit workout, and other ways to learn about good habits.
Here's the discussion Sarah and I had about all your different options:
So make sure you check out their Facebook page to get more information about the cooking classes coming up, or the other activities they've got this fall. The Zumba class will be on Thursday, Aug. 15 at the St Paul's Lutheran Gym, 701 South Massachusetts. It'll start at 6:30 p.m. and there's no charge. They'll also offer a kids Zumba for kids ages 3 to 12, so bring them too!
