Gwen Stefani appeared on Ellen and dodged most of the TV talk show host's questions, but admitted that prior to appearing on the The Voice, she had no idea who Blake Shelton was.

That question about whether or not he's a good kisser? Well, someone else will have to follow up. Ellen DeGeneres and Stefani are friends in real life, so the 57-year-old didn't exactly hit her with difficult questions. It was sort of a weird dancing around the elephant in the room — at one point DeGeneres struggled to say the word "divorce."

She did get Stefani to admit she's having lots of fun on The Voice this year, and the two briefly talked about Team Gwen. Ellen brings up Shelton's musical knowledge, with his girlfriend adding she was impressed that he knows every '80s hit.

“I didn’t even know who he was before I was on the show," the 46-year-old says. “Before I was on The Voice I’d never heard of him before ... I’m an O.C. girl, like what would I know?”

Stefani was born and raised in southern California, and is the lead singer of No Doubt in addition to being a solo artist. She split from husband Gavin Rossdale two weeks after Shelton and Miranda Lambert split. Their divorce was finalized in October. Shelton and Stefani revealed that they were dating in November, hours before the 2015 CMA Awards.
