Wow, what an awesome day at the Sedalia Rod & Gun Club!  Last Saturday, we had about 300 people show up to the event, with over 100 of them fishing at one time.  The Kansas City Retrievers Club put on Retriever exhibitions, and those dogs are awesome.  All of the archery events were a big hit.  The Traveling Panthers Little League Team provided lunch.  We had kettle corn, bounce houses, vendors, handgun safety courses and an awesome muzzle-loading demonstration. Thanks to all of our archery prize and target sponsors.  We had a rain free event from 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. when the storm came.

On Friday I stopped by the Herman Lumber Crappie tournament at Sterret Creek.  Several fish weighed in, I believe 10 fish with a total wight of 11.1 lbs. won.

This week will be the time to get KIX Ride to the Races Tickets.  You can ride the Kix 105 Party Bus to the Races.  It'll be an all-day event with boat races, carnival and dirt races.  Huntin' n' Fishin' with Harry will have an archery game and prizes and a huge fireworks display at the end of the night.  I'll catch you there!
