George Strait Wins Again

A lot of country music artists have recorded over the years. In fact if you go back to the year 1958, you'd have a list over a mile long.

According to the website WideOpenCountry.com, Billboard has gone back and crunched the numbers and reached the conclusion that George Strait has come out ahead of all other artists as their overall top-charting country artist.

Think of all the artists over the years...Ferlin Husky, Tom T. Hall, Sonny James, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Kenny Rogers, Alabama, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks and many others that we've failed to mention or even think about during that period of time.

I bet you'll be surprised at the number one charting country song of all time, too! 

How about what Billboard ranked the highest when it came to country albums. You may be in disbelief.
