True to his word, Garth Brooks went all out for wife Trisha Yearwood's birthday on Tuesday (Sept. 19) -- and he gave her the best present ever!

The superstar singer surprised his wife with tickets to see Bruno Mars, who made a stop at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky., on his 2017 24K Magic World Tour. Yearwood turned to Instagram to share the exciting evening with fans, posting a pic stitch collage that includes a photo of the happy couple enjoying the show and a video of Mars rocking the stage.

"Thank you for all of your birthday messages and cakes! Garth surprised me with a trip to Louisville to see Bruno Mars! I know it was my birthday, but I'm not sure who had more fun! Xoxo," she writes lovingly alongside the collage.

Even the Biggest Garth Fan Will Learn Something New From This

Earlier in the day, Brooks had posted a video to Facebook revealing that he'd be taking over all of her social media accounts to celebrate the occasion and encouraging fans to reach out and send her well wishes. "Just make sure she knows you love her and she loves you," Brooks says in the video, referring to his wife as "the queen."

The power couple will wrap up the North American leg of their World Tour in December of 2017, marking the end of its three-year run. The tour has sold a whopping 5.5 million tickets, and Brooks does have plans to bring it overseas.

"So when it’s all said and done and it’s January, it’s funny, what am I gonna miss? I’m gonna miss this. It’s the greatest way to spend your days," he tells NewsOK.
