I know you probably won't be surprised to read this, but... there's nothing about radio here.  Or online blogging.  Or.. anything that I could probably do, actually.

Here are four jobs that pay surprisingly well . . .

1.  Professional golf ball diver.  You go to golf courses with scuba gear and collect balls people hit into the ponds.  According to Golf.com, people who do it in Florida make up to $100,000 a year.

They have to deal with ALLIGATORS though . . . the water is usually filled with bacteria . . . and at least four people have drowned in the past few years doing it.  Also, you have to make a deal with the golf course first, or they'll have you arrested.

2.  UPS driver.  They make an average of $77,000 a year, which is $40,000 more than the average FedEx driver makes.

3.  Air traffic controller.  They make an average of $119,000 a year, but obviously there's a lot of stress involved.  And you get forced into retirement at age 56.

4.  Hot dog vendor.  You can make $100,000 a year selling hot dogs on the street, partly because the mark-up is so huge:  You charge $3 for one hot dog that only costs 50 cents to make.

But getting a license to sell them can be pretty crazy.  If you want to sell them at Central Park in New York, the permit runs you about 200 grand a YEAR.  Vendors there can make over 400 grand a year though.

Maybe I could get a second job?  Maybe just a little hot dog stand.... aah, a girl can dream.

Payingly yours,

Behka
