Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line looked plenty comfortable singing their country hit 'Sun Daze' on a non-country stage on Sunday night (March 29). The duo's iHeartRadio Music Awards performance came early during the NBC broadcast. For country fans, it was an early highlight.

Both men were dressed in black, with Kelley even going as far as wearing a T-shirt commemorating the Man in Black, Johnny Cash. He also gave a more subtle shoutout to his and wife Brittney Marie Kelley's clothing company, Tribe Kelley. His TK hat is the company's logo.

As for Hubbard, he performed in sunglasses and a black club shirt. The stage was flanked by palm trees and the live Shrine Auditorium audience. The duo's normal stage band joined them in L.A. for the gig, although the mellow song only calls for a fraction of their usually high octane live set.

"All I wanna do today is wear my favorite shades and get stoned," FGL sing on their hit from Anything Goes. The song was a second straight deviation from what fans had grown used to on their debut album. The lead single "Dirt" scored an iHeartRadio nomination in the Best Country Song category, to be presented later in the night.

Florida Georgia Line are currently in the middle of their 2015 Anything Goes tour, which criss-crosses the country with Frankie Ballard and Thomas Rhett. They're also nominated for five ACM Awards, including Entertainer of the Year.
