Five People From Warrensburg Area Die In Accident in Kansas City

Five people from the Warrensburg area, including three children and a teen are dead, after a accident happened on Saturday night (Dec. 27) on I-435 and Eastwood Trafficway.

Kansas City Police report that the accident happened after a vehicle was stopped on I-435 and Eastwood Trafficway and was hit by a semi.

Seven-month-old Taeshawn Hutchinson, Two-year-old JaRiah Hutchison died at the scene, while 24-year-old Shante Hopkins, 17-year-old Dominique Johnson and one-year-old JaNijiah Hutchison died at the hospital.

Kansas City Police say the driver of the semi was uninjured and has been cooperative with the investigation.
