A new country music and camping festival is coming to Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas this September. The first annual Flatlands Country Music Festival will take place from September 12-14 with a total capacity of 24,000. Luke Bryan and Toby Keith will headline the festival.

Bryan, named Favorite Male Country Artist at the 2012 American Music Awards, will headline on Friday, September 13. Reigning Billboard Country Artist of the Decade Keith will be the featured performer the following night. Additional artists confirmed include Darius Rucker, Rodney Atkins, Thompson Square, Kevin Fowler and J.T. Hodges. The Charlie Daniels Band will headline a free concert on Thursday, September 12 in the Sprint Plaza, an area directly adjacent to the stadium bowl.

Flatlands Country Music Festival is the newest music event from the owners of WE Fest, America’s largest country music and camping festival. Flatlands will be held at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan. on Sept. 12-14, 2013. The festival will feature performances from several of the most popular artists in country music over three days.  More festival performances are expected to be announced in the near future.  The 24,000 expected to be in attendance will have the opportunity to camp in nearby areas.

Tickets and camping passes for the first annual Flatlands Country Music Festival go on sale Friday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting ticketmaster.com. Tickets start at only $99 for the entire music festival. Passes for camping and parking may also be purchased immediately.
