Lauren Hill scored four points on Sunday, and her Division III team, Mount St. Joseph, beat Hiram College, 66-55.  But the atmosphere around Hill's first college game can never be properly captured in a box score.  Hill, a freshman with inoperable brain cancer, took a pass in the post and hit a left-handed layup just 17 seconds into Sunday's game against Hiram College. The NCAA allowed the schools to move the game up two weeks in the hope Hill would be healthy enough to play. In September, doctors told her she has only a few months to live.  It's stories like this and the one that involved our own Harry Hoffert that restores our faith in mankind.  Harry was contacted by the mother of this young man.  The young man has MD and the one thing that the boy wanted to do was to go out deer hunting.  Harry, along with the help of many others, made this dream come true and very special for Mason Clark.
