Fatal ATV Accident Kills Sedalia Teen, Seriously Injures Passenger

At 5:45 Tuesday evening (June 26), the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a fatal accident that occurred on Cherry Tree Lane South of Bouldin Road in Pettis County.

According to the accident report, the accident happened as a 1985 Honda TRX-240 driven by 18-year-old Mitchell Allee of Sedalia ran off the roadway, struck a branch and overturned, partially ejecting Allee and fully ejecting the passenger, 19-year-old Kevin Mullins of Sedalia.

Allee suffered fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead at the University Hospital in Columbia. Mullins was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. The Pettis County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the accident.
