Fatal Accident Claims Life of Camdenton Man

A Camdenton man was killed in an accident on US 54 in Camden County on August 29.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a GMC Sierra collided with a Freightliner Conventional that was stopped in a construction zone. The driver of the GMC, 74-year-old William Kaifer, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Freightliner, 58-year-old Anthony Seymour of Eldon, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
