Faith Hill took the ice before Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final in Nashville on Sunday (June 11) for a passionate performance of the National Anthem.

The crowd went crazy when Hill made her way into the arena for her impassioned rendition of the anthem, and everyone could be heard singing along through her performance. Looking as glamorous as ever, Hill belted out the anthem in a custom Predators jersey, as player PK Subban could be seen singing the words right along with her. She hit the big notes with power and grace in a performance that ended with a triumphant fist pump, as if to encourage the team. And the crowd went just as nuts when husband Tim McGraw came out to lead a spirited towel wave before the start of the game.

The singer joins a short list of stars who have shown their support for the Nashville Predators by singing the anthem at home games in Nashville as the Preds have swept their way through the Playoffs and into the Finals. Carrie UnderwoodLittle Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Vince Gill, Kelly Clarkson, Luke BryanKeith UrbanTrisha YearwoodMartina McBride and Dierks Bentley have also taken on the vocally challenging task.

Country's Best Anthem Singer? You Decide!

The Predators played the Pittsburgh Penguins at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Sunday after the performance. The Penguins led the Predators three games to two going into the game. If the Penguins take Game 6, they'll win the Stanley Cup. If the Preds win, they will head to Pittsburgh on Wednesday (June 14) for a series-deciding Game 7.

Bentley says the enthusiasm of Predators fans is like nothing else.

"I’ve got some friends who work for the NHL. They said they’ve never seen an atmosphere like the one here in Nashville; the volume is the loudest they’ve ever heard in the country," the singer observes. "So it’s not so much what the Stanley Cup means for Nashville … it’s more about what Nashville’s doing for the sport of hockey. We’re doing a lot more for the NHL than the NHL’s doing for us."
