While the focus was on Faith Hill's dress at the Country Music Awards last week, a closer look at the superstar reveals a new accessory: braces.

"They are about four months old. I'm getting used to them," Hill said in an interview with country station KNIX. "I forgot to wear my retainer -- kids, wear your retainer," she advised, explaining why she had to get them put on. "I had braces as a kid."

Hill is also being a good role model for her daughters with her new addition. The mom revealed that Gracie (her oldest daughter with Tim McGraw) and Maggie (their middle daughter) both have braces.

At the 2012 CMAs, Hill performer her latest single, 'American Heart,' and is currently gearing up for a series of Soul2Soul dates with her husband at Las Vegas' Venetian hotel and casino. The residency begins Dec. 7 and will run through April 2013.

Hill revealed the duo will sing together, rather than independently, "pretty much the entire show, about 90 percent of the time. It's one of the most creative things Tim and I have ever done."

"They have been remarkable in working around our schedules," she added of working out travel logistics for the shows. "We're just flying in and out."

"We're ready," she assures.

Fans are ready, too -- ready for her new album, which she says is done. 'American Heart' is the third track reported to be a part of the album, which has no known release date.
