An Explorer Day Camp from Aug. 1-3 at Knob Noster State Park is the perfect way to learn about nature while having fun.

This free camp is offered to children between the ages of 8 and 14.

Participants will kayak, hike and learn about native Missouri wildlife while earning their Missouri State Park Explorer Patch. The first day will focus on mammals; the second day will focus on amphibians and reptiles; and the third day will focus on participants earning their explorer patches.

Pre-registration is required as space is limited and registration must be received by July 31. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Lunch will not be provided.
