The Veteran's Appreciation Barbecue, a Salute to all Veterans will take place Saturday, September 15.
It'll be held on the Pettis County Courthouse Lawn from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. They'll be serving hamburgers, bratwurst, chips, dessert and soft drinks. Donations accepted. There will be patriotic music. Bring your lawn chairs, come early and stay late. The guest speaker will be Major John Martin of the Missouri Army National Guard.
