April 24, 25, 26, 2015 1st Annual Equestrian Gathering for the dedication of the new Starline Brass Trail's End Plaza. At noon Friday April 24 Trent Loos Trail Ride on the Katy Trail, Top the evening off with Son's of The Pioneers concert. Saturday 9:am largest equestrian Parade downtown Sedalia. Saturday afternoon enjoy the Chuck Wagon Races in front of the Pepsi Grandstand MO State Fairgrounds, then stroll through the many artist's booths at the Western Art Sale,mosey over to the Pow Wow, watch colorful dances, and listen to the beat of the drums. Next stop at the Quilt Show, and you won't want to miss the Fiddler's contest competition starts at 12:05pm. Saturday night Michael Martin Murphey concert and the NFPB Bull Riding at the Mathewson Center. 10:pm in the Mohler Assembly Hall live music by Tobacco Row at the 'Boot Scootin' Western Swing Dance. Sunday morning join the fellowship at 9-10:am Cowboy Church in the MO Ag Theatre, Rev. Steven Spalding officiating with Francine Robison and Royce Smithey. Then head over to the Grandstand grab a plate of BBQ and learn how to pitch horseshoes, or if singin' is your thing, the Cowboy/Cowboy Singin' Contest and watch the winner qualify for the 2015 Missouri state Fair Idol Competition.
