State Fair Strutters Sportsman Challenge

On Saturday, September 28 the State Fair Strutters chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federations will host a Sportsmans Challenge. This will consist of four events: 22 caliber targets, shotgun clay  pigeons, 3D targets, and a pop up blind relay.  Entry fees are $100 per three person team.  All funds raised go towards the chapter's Scholarship Fund as well as several of the chapter's youth programs.  There is $1000 dollars in money and prizes for the top three teams.  There will also be a number of events for kids which are all free like archery, and a casting event.  If you don't have a team, there are individual events such as trap and archery  for cash and prizes. Come out to the Sedalia Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, September 28.  Events will start at 8:00 a.m. and registration ends at 11:00 a.m. Events will continue until 4:00 p.m.  For more information, contact Chuck Mattingly at 660-827-0758
