State Fair Community College will offer a class on “Christianity: Understanding Denominational Distinctives” in November.

The class will meet from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursdays for five weeks beginning Nov. 1 in Yeater Learning Center Room 140. Instructor is P.C. Thomas. Cost is $59.

The course will briefly survey some of the major schools of thought to which Christians have adhered because of personal choice or family upbringing. Topics to be covered include Calvinism/Reformed Theology, Arminianism/Wesleyanism, “The Water That Divides,” Dispensationalism/End-Time Activism, Pentecostalism, and Non-Denominationalism.
