Lego robotics, dance, adventures in science, junk art, and CSI Sedalia are just a few of the classes that will be offered this summer through State Fair Community College’s fourth annual Kids College.

The program offers 11 different five-day classes for students entering pre-kindergarten through eighth grade next fall.

Classes will meet mornings or afternoons June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11, and July 14-18. Lego Robotics for students in grades 4-8 will meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fees vary from $45 to $169 per class based on materials and equipment used. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Early enrollment is advised; classes without minimum enrollment one week prior to start dates may be canceled. Instructors are listed with each class.

Classes scheduled for Week One, June 16-20, include:

•9 a.m. to noon—“Adventures in Science,” preschool, $65, Melissa Stephens; “Build Your Own House!” grades 6-8, $65, Kevin Haulotte; “Dr. Seuss on the Loose,” K-2, $65, Brenda Riggs; “Junk Art,” K-2, $65, Ashley Wendt; “Seven Habits of Highly Successful Teens,” grades 6-8, $75, Jo Perusich

•9 a.m. to 4 p.m.—“Lego Robotics,” grades 4-8, $169, Kevin Ditzfeld

•10 a.m. to noon—“Want to Dance?” grades 5-6, $45, Mary Donnell-Brown

•9 a.m. to noon—“Junk Art,” grades 3-5, $65, Ashley Wendt; “Lights! Camera! Action!” grades 3-5, $65, Sarah Miller

•9 a.m. to 4 p.m.—“Lego Robotics,” grades 4-8, $169, Kevin Ditzfeld
