Sedalia School District 200 has joined with an array of community agencies and support services to offer a Community Resource Fair Round-Up on Tuesday, April 14, in the FEMA Building on the Smith-Cotton Junior High campus.

The event, scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., will give families an opportunity to learn about and connect with services including housing, health care, education, substance abuse prevention, youth support and more. Participating agencies include Missouri Career Center, Open Door, Boys and Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri, the Social Security Administration and more than 30 others.

Sedalia 200 students will be able to play games for prizes and food will be provided free by OPAA Food Management. There is no cost to attend or for any of the children’s activities.

“This resource fair is a great opportunity to learn about what services the community of Sedalia offers to families,” said Dr. Nancy Scott, Sedalia 200 assistant superintendent. “Parents will be able to browse the vendor tables while their students enjoy the games and activities.”
