DESCRIPTION:The Windsor area Chamber of Commerce is going to have  a display on the 4th at Farrington Park.Starting early at about 8:45 a.m.\, they'll have an opening ceremony by the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Boy Scouts.  They're going to have a watermelon festival and a cardboard regatta race.    They're also going to have a Backseat Driver car race\, the turtle race\, the frog race\, the egg race\, the sack race\, the soft egg toss\, the water balloon toss\, and a softball toss.They'll have music from the Glory Road band at 4 p.m.\, and the fireworks start at dusk.  They'll have plenty of food and vendors and bring your camera\, because Team Molly and Team Flying Truck will be there.  Go visit the website or call 660-647-2318 for more information.

DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the 46th Annual Hughesville Christmas Parade on Saturday\, December 1. The parade will line up at 1:00 p.m at Summit Street and many will watch at Main and Summit. The parade begins at 2:00 p.m.  A donation lunch of chili\, hotdogs\, drinks and dessert will be served from 11:00 a.m. until after the parade.  Santa will be at the Community Building to visit with children after the parade.  Linda Hoover will be on hand to do hair painting with chalk and face painting.  Dorothy the Clown will be there with balloon art.  The Santa Store will be open for kids to purchase $1 gifts for their parents\, siblings or other relatives and friends.  If you know someone who would like to enter the parade or would like to enter yourself or your group (Marching units\, floats\, vehicles\, horses/animals)\, call Norma Thomas  at 826-3531.

SUMMARY:Cupid's Ball Tickets On Sale
DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Service League of Sedalia is planning its 16th Annual Cupid’s Ball\, Passport to Fashion\, for Saturday\, February 2\, 2013.  The ball will take place at The Smith Cotton High School.  Girls 5-12 years are invited to ask their favorite guy; father\, stepfather\, uncle\, or grandfather to the dance. Tickets are $20 per person which includes light refreshments\, a professional 5x7 photograph and dancing. New ticket sale location for 2013…..tickets may be purchased  on Saturday\,  January 5\, 2013 on the campus of SFCC in the Thompson Conference Center.  The doors open at 8:00 a.m.  Vendors will be set up to help you make this the perfect evening.  You may order flowers\, hair appointments and preview clothing options for dads and girls. Tickets are limited.  All proceeds are donated to local charities.

SUMMARY:St Patrick's Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The VFW Ladies Auxiliary 2591 celebrates St Patrick's Day on Saturday\, March 16.     They'll begin with a cake walk at the VFW Hall\, with the walks starting at 9:00 am. Minimum 10 per walk.  The parade will line up at 7th and Ohio at 9:30 a.m. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m.  All entries are welcome: bands\, floats\, cars\, walkers\, etc.  Get your entry form in by March 10th.  Special entry for kids 14 and under with bikes\, scooters\, pedal cars\, etc.  Call Barbara at 827-3793 or the Post at 826-4543.  There will be an Irish stew and chili at the VFW Hall after the parade\, donations are appreciated.  The Fundraising auction will be between 11:30 and 12:00.
